The city promotion activity of “l(fā)’affascinante Shanghai” was successfully held in Milano on March 24 of local time. It was jointly sponsored by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality, Palazzo Morando, Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Broadcasting, Film and Television, and Shanghai International Culture Association and co-organized by the World Expo Museum as well as Shanghai History Museum.

The event was composed of pictorial exhibition “Expo: De Shanghai a Milano”, “QIPAO2014, a fashion show of Shanghai-style costumes” and the opening ceremony of Sino-Italy Design Exchange Center. The Photography Exhibition was co-hosted by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai International Culture Association and the WEM. Hundreds of pictures, including those on Italy participating Shanghai Expo 2010, were on display showing the city’s after-Expo development, people’s life and splendor. Besides, the Exhibition displayed the city image films “Shanghai, City of Inspiration” and “Ablaze at the Expo”, a 3-D commemorative film of Shanghai Expo 2010, together with a miniature of the architectural model of the WEM.
